If you're like me, from the mountains, and when you go to the beach you get into a super good vibes state of mind, especially as a kid, let me tell you an interesting natural theory that could explain it. Maybe my interpretation is not accurate, but what I understood from that verse is that both the sea and atmosphere are called 'waters' there, and that 'firmament' is the horizon line. That is, at that time it was imagined that the earth had an end, just like in the Middle Ages they still held the belief that if you sailed towards that line, you'd fall into an abyss. So when you get onto the sand watching the sea, it's as if you had just got closer to heaven. And isn't it funny how "fearful" people was, no one being able to imagine the ship going up instead of down, I mean, continuing to navigate in the waters of heaven? That's because probably they imagined the line as a ghost wall.

By reading this, some might ask, "How can you, knowing that, still believe those books?". Well, I see God as a much more mysterious being than the one in "religious" people's minds. I think there's no other game He likes to play more than hide-and-seek. The biblical texts are not the only field where He plays, though they try to contain Him in there, dividing religious waters from secular waters. It's what they call "spiritual disciplines": you say a prayer in the morning, read your Bible, and then you're ready to go to the college read your other books and listen to your professors. I've always seen that as a behavior which fails miserably to acknowledge His greatness, I mean, what God is that who is not worthy to be sought all the time? It breaks the condition expressed in their own Bible, that you must do it with your whole heart, else you won't find Him.

If you have ever, sincerely and intensely, wished and asked for Wisdom, the first knowledge you've found by Grace is that that "first slice of the birthday cake" is not a sufficient effort. And if you doubt it, you fall from Grace. Yeah, the abyss.

I used to be like, "I'm radical and nuts, but maybe there's another way", believing that, by admitting that possiblity, I was being humble. After all the evil and apathy I've seen lately in "religious" people, that door was definitively closed in my heart.

Everybody is born Heartless, a mechanized robot in control and unable to lead anyone anywhere. Nonetheless, there is a type of lady and gentleman who, while lost and still trying to fit in "society", hide secrets they can't let go of and can keep them from hopelessly and carelessly settling for less, even when they haven't begun knowing the Secret+. Faith is always there in the chosen ones; it just remains asleep until a deeper encounter with the dark and messy "reality" of the world opens up their eyes, making them feel there's no way Out except awakening it for Good. Just trying to forget that harshness would be as hard for them as trying to forget about the bright Side. Because since their secrets come from It, they'd interpret that choice as wasting a big Chance to return there, the only Place where real dreams can come true.

I'm not trying to spread a judgmental message, as if those who are not of the world could not commit big mistakes. David and Solomon themselves are examples of believers who, being greatly weathy and famous, left the Lot after some "thing" infinitely smaller than that which belongs to the Kingdom. Like I said, on the one hand, even the dormant thirst for what is virtuous and transcendent can keep you from giving in, but, on the other hand, temptation does not cease to exist not even when you have already consciously engaged in the Treatment. You could still do that which the Doctor has already warned you would only harm your soul and body, never really help you get better.

Eu compreendo o "incômodo" e o "desconforto", porque eu também não suporto gente desenvolvendo o amor da falsidade nos meus ouvidos. Eu fiquei perplexo quando ela veio me falar sobre "status" e "riqueza"; depois me alertaram que ela havia tido outro assunto favorito no passado, que era "sexo". Pela lógica, analisando a má obra que a mesma praticou em seguida ao discurso em que revelava seu "desejo", deixando-me ainda mais confuso e sem saber com quem afinal estava lidando num território que supostamente seria de igreja, tal passado ainda era bem presente na "vida" dela.

Aqueles caracteres que li da mesma, falando em "felicidade" e "realização" em seus tempos de faculdade, também me incomodaram profundamente, porque eu sabia exatamente qual era o assunto em questão. E como não tinha interesse no que ela tinha para dar, eu não também tinha razão para aguentá-la escrevendo de seu "presente" nos meus olhos. E aí, quando confronta alguém nessa condição, você resolve logo a situação. Pois se não houver disposição para o arrependimento, a pessoa te bloqueará, deixando claro que a Sabedoria que você tem para dar não é o que ela quer. Foi só uma questão de esperar a oportunidade aparecer para conseguir provar o que mais ela estava buscando dentro de um templo, além de um marido "rico". Mas eu confesso que não estava preparado para descobrir que a "coisa" que ela escondia era tão pesada.

Na Verdade, eu já havia tido a intuição sobre algo muito errado pairando no ar desde o princípio. Porque eu fiz um comentário inocente e carinhoso, mas na reação, na voz da pessoa, já era possível discernir uma má imaginação. Hoje eu entendo que o número de telefone e endereço de email que ganhei não eram um convite à interação fraterna, antes se tratavam da seguinte proposta, "Gostei da sua cantada, pedreiro; você ganhou uma noite comigo. Me liga para a gente combinar o dia. Mas é para pegar sem se apegar, porque para casar você teria que ser um juiz ou desembargador". E como essas pessoas conseguem se mover livremente nesses lugares, sem serem incomodadas e sentindo-se em casa? A resposta é simples: ninguém precisa se arrepender para se converter a uma "religião".

Como saber se você está numa igreja ou num clube "social"? Medindo a temperatura. Se há frieza espiritual, pode saber que há alta probabilidade de nos bastidores a "comunhão" estar pegando "fogo".

The story is true; the tool that mixes lies with "truth" to pretend he has something better to offer has indeed stolen our Brain and Heart in the beginning.
